Activity Camp 2010 - 12-02-2010 - 14-02-2010

We're joining up with the 12th Didcot Sea Scouts to do an Activity Camp at Youlbury. The camp will run from the 12th Feb through to Sunday 14th Feb. The main aim of the weekend is to use as many activities as we can fit in from the Youlbury Scout Activity Centre (click here for information about Youlbury).

This will be the first joint camp between our groups for many years and promises to be a fun packed weekend for all Scouts, and an opportunity to make new friends.

We will be using one of Youlbury's accomodation blocks, which includes cooking facilities. Scouts will be expected to "muck in" and help with preparation of food and clearing up afterwards.

The programme is yet to be finalised, however, it will include activities such as:

Jacob's Ladder
Shooting
Zipwire

Although there will be a full programme of activities there will also be plenty of time for the Scouts to join in with their new friends and experience some of the outdoor life that Youlbury has to offer (like campfires and wide games in the woods).
