Cooking Competition Champions Again
This year's Didcot District Cooking Competition was won, again, by the 23rd. The team of four (Aaron, Declan, Jack and Jonah) created a three course meal for four with a strange and ecclectic mix of ingredients.
This is the third year in a row that a team from the 23rd has won this competition and the guys had the additional pressure of making sure that the cup came back home with them.

The Menu
STARTER: Ryebread, spam, and broccoli grill
MAIN: Chicken kebabs served on a bed of couscous with a vegetable tagine
DESSERT: Pineapple, fig and apple medley served with fresh cream
Thanks to Rachel and Wendy for coaching the boys, and to the parents that had to put up with a couple of late nights, several practice meals, and supplied table decorations and napkins. Thanks also to Owain and Adrian for being our standby cooks and helping in the practice sessions.
